Assessment is a vital component in education, but only when it’s thoughtful and purposeful. Together, we’ll talk about productive techniques of gathering and using formative assessment, ways to construct and deliver beneficial feedback, and to develop summative assessments that provide ample evidence of student learning. With hands-on activities and lots of interactive discussions, teachers in this workshop will create and improve their kit of assessment tools that can be used as soon as they return to the classroom.
